Nerve DJ's Institute Celebrates the Graduation of 8 CCJC Probation Youth
Cleveland, OH – Nerve DJ's Institute recently celebrated the graduation and accomplishments of eight probation youth from the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court (CCJC) in its Studio Based Education Program. Through hands-on experience in courses including Beat Making, Podcasting, and DJ Skills, these young graduates gained skills and equipment to pursue their passion in the music industry.
As part of their graduation, each youth received professional-grade equipment to continue their music journey. During interviews, graduates shared what they learned from the program, their course choices, and how they plan to apply their new skills. Many reflected on the dedication of their instructors, appreciating the passion, mentorship, and support to keep them focused and out of trouble.
The Nerve DJ’s Music Education Program provides youth with studio-based training in DJ techniques, sound engineering, and music technology. Classes are held four times a week over a 10-week period, with both morning and afternoon sessions. Graduates are offered job placement assistance, networking opportunities, and community engagement experiences to help them build successful careers.
The graduates also offered words of encouragement to future participants, sharing their experiences and the impact the program has had on their lives.
