Cuyahoga County Youth and Nerve DJ Institute Honored with Prestigious DYS Director’s Award
Columbus, OH (December 5, 2023) – At the Juvenile Judge’s Winter Meeting Luncheon, the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) proudly presented a Cuyahoga County youth and the Nerve DJ Institute with the distinguished Director’s Award. This prestigious honor, regarded as the highest recognition by DYS, celebrates outstanding programs and individuals who demonstrate resilience and positive transformation.
The award recognized a remarkable youth who has overcome adversity and continues to excel in their personal and professional journey. With aspirations of becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), the recipient is a shining example of determination and perseverance. Their proud mother and dedicated probation officer joined the celebration, highlighting the supportive network that has contributed to the youth’s success.
The Nerve DJ Institute, an instrumental partner in this achievement, was also recognized for its role in guiding and empowering youth through innovative programs.
