Detention Center

The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center (CCJDC) is a 180-bed facility designed to provide a safe and secure environment for youth awaiting trial when the level of offense jeopardizes community safety.  

CCJDC is equipped with modern security systems, including surveillance cameras, controlled access points, and twenty-four hours and day, seven days a week supervision by trained staff.  

The facility includes living units, educational classrooms, recreational areas, and medical and mental health services.
